Will this mess with my eBay account?
No. You connect through eBay's own sign-in and can disconnect anytime; WaxEngine never sees your password. Every automation ships turned off, with safety caps and a dry-run mode, so nothing sends offers, ends listings, or publishes until you switch it on.
What counts as an "AI scan"?
Each card processed through the AI identification system counts as one scan. The AI identifies the player, set, year, parallel, and card number from your scanned images. You get 1,000 scans per month.
What happens if I run out of scans?
You can add 250 more scans anytime for $4.95, right from the app. Scan packs are one-time purchases that expire at the end of your billing cycle. No plan change needed.
Is there an annual billing option?
Yes! Pay $249/year and save 17% compared to monthly billing. That's less than $21/month for the full platform.
Do I need my own eBay API keys?
No. WaxEngine handles all eBay API connections for you. Just sign into your eBay account when prompted, no developer account or API keys needed.
What sports are supported?
Hockey, baseball and football raw singles are scanned, priced, listed and relisted today. Pokemon is scanned and reviewed, with pricing and publishing still to come. Basketball is on the roadmap. The store side, pricing, tier management and automation, works with any eBay listings you already have.
Is this a web app or desktop app?
WaxEngine is a web application, nothing to install. Sign in from any browser, connect your eBay account with a normal login, and run your whole store from anywhere. It works on your phone at the card table too.
What currency am I charged in?
Prices on this page are in US dollars. If you sell on eBay.ca we bill you the same number in Canadian dollars instead, C$24.95 per month or C$249 per year, so Canadian sellers pay less in real terms, your card is never hit with a foreign transaction fee, and the amount does not move with the exchange rate. We set your currency from the eBay marketplace you choose when you set up your account.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account settings. No contracts, no cancellation fees. If you are just having a quiet stretch you can pause your account for up to two months a year instead, and your listings stay live on eBay while it is paused. You can export your cards, sold orders, and active listings to CSV whenever you want, so your data is always yours to take with you.
