Free AI tools
WaxEngine tools for Claude and ChatGPT.
WaxEngine publishes five free tools that work inside Claude and ChatGPT: a card price check, a sold sales lookup, an eBay listing writer, a Pokemon bulk valuer and an eBay fee calculator. Each one is a public MCP server: paste its URL into your assistant and ask in plain words, with no account, no sign-in and no API key. Card values come from sold sales of the exact card asked about, plus TCGplayer market prices for Pokemon and Magic, never from guesses or from other cards in the same set.
The tools are free, rate-limited with the daily caps listed below, and made by WaxEngine, the eBay listing tool for card sellers.
| Tool | Question it answers | Data behind the answer |
|---|---|---|
| Card Price Check | What is this card worth? | Sold sales of that exact card; TCGplayer market price for Pokemon and Magic |
| Card Sales Lookup | What did this card actually sell for? | Sold sales of that exact card, newest first, with links |
| Card Listing Writer | How do I list this card on eBay? | WaxEngine's title and item-specifics builders; no external data |
| Pokemon Bulk Value | What is this stack of Pokemon cards worth? | TCGplayer market price per card, via JustTCG |
| Card Fee Calculator | What do I keep after eBay fees? | eBay's published US and Canada trading card fee rates, October 2026 |

Card Price Check
Card Price Check tells you what one trading card is worth, built only from recent sold sales of that exact card: same player or character, year, set, card number, parallel, print run and grade. It covers hockey, baseball, football, basketball and UFC cards, plus Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering, where it also shows the TCGplayer market price. When there are not enough recent sales of the exact card, it says so plainly instead of guessing from other cards.
Example question: "What is a 2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns Connor Bedard #451 rookie worth?" The answer gives a value in US or Canadian dollars, the sale range, how many sales back the value, and the most recent sale with its date.

- Daily caps: 2,000 answers per day, plus the shared live-data caps below (as of October 3, 2026).
- Data source: sold eBay sales of that exact card, supplied through licensed data feeds; TCGplayer market price via JustTCG for Pokemon and Magic cards. Never priced from other cards in the set.
Card Sales Lookup
Card Sales Lookup lists the most recent sold sales of one exact trading card, newest first, so you can see what it really sold for and check each sale yourself. Every row carries the listing title, the sold price, the date, whether it was an auction or fixed price, and a link to the sold listing. Only sales the matcher accepts for that card are shown; sales of other players' cards from the same set are never mixed in.
Example question: "Show me the last 3 sales of a 2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns Connor Bedard #451 rookie." The answer is up to 20 matched sales (10 by default), or a plain statement that no recent sales of that exact card were found.

- Daily caps: 2,000 answers per day, plus the shared live-data caps below (as of October 3, 2026).
- Data source: sold eBay sales of that exact card, supplied through licensed data feeds, with tracking parameters stripped from every listing link.
Card Listing Writer
Card Listing Writer turns a card's details into an eBay-ready listing: a title of up to 80 characters with the words buyers search for in the order card sellers use, the item specifics eBay asks for (player or character, season, manufacturer, set, card number, parallel, features such as Rookie or Autograph, grading and condition), and the eBay category. It writes text only and never posts anything to eBay. Sports cards, Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering are supported.
Example question: "Write an eBay listing for a PSA 10 2023-24 Upper Deck Series 2 Young Guns Connor Bedard #451." The answer is the full title with its character count, the item specifics, and the category number, ready to paste into an eBay listing form.

- Daily caps: 2,000 answers per day (as of October 3, 2026). No live-data caps apply: the tool fetches nothing.
- Data source: the same title and item-specifics builders WaxEngine uses to publish its sellers' cards. No external data is read.
Pokemon Bulk Value
Pokemon Bulk Value prices a stack of up to 25 raw Pokemon cards in one question. Give each card's name and number, plus the set and finish if you know them, and it returns each card's TCGplayer market price at near mint, multiplies by your quantities, and totals the stack. It also marks which cards are worth listing on their own and which are bulk, and lists cards it cannot match as not found rather than guessing. Raw English and Japanese cards are supported; graded cards are not.
Example question: "I have 10 Pikachu 049/203 Evolving Skies and 2 Charizard 4/102 Base Set. What is the lot worth?" The answer prices each card, totals the lot with the quantities, and flags which cards deserve their own listing.

- Daily caps: 2,000 answers per day; each card priced uses one of the 30 shared daily TCGplayer lookups (as of October 3, 2026).
- Data source: TCGplayer market price per card, near mint, supplied via JustTCG, converted to US or Canadian dollars.
Card Fee Calculator
Card Fee Calculator shows what you actually keep when you sell a trading card on eBay in the US or Canada. From the sale price, and optionally the shipping you charged, your shipping cost, what the card cost you, the buyer's sales tax rate and your Promoted Listings rate, it works out eBay's final value fee (13.25% of the order total up to $7,500, then 2.35%, as of October 2026), the per-order fee ($0.30, or $0.40 over $10), the ad fee, and for US sellers the 1.65% international fee, then your take-home and profit.
Example question: "I sold a card for $25 and charged $1.50 shipping. Label was $1.25 and the card cost me $5. What do I keep?" The answer itemizes each fee, the fee percentage of the sale, what you keep after fees and shipping, and profit after the card's cost.

- Daily caps: 2,000 answers per day (as of October 3, 2026). No live-data caps apply: the math runs locally.
- Data source: eBay's published trading card fee rates for the US and Canada, for sellers without an eBay Store, as of October 2026. Fees can change; results are estimates.
Daily limits
All five tools are free, so each carries a daily cap. The caps below are the defaults as of October 3, 2026. Answers built from already-stored sales and pure math are not limited by the live-data caps, only by the per-tool cap.
| Limit | Per day | When it is reached |
|---|---|---|
| Answers, per tool | 2,000 | The tool says the daily limit is reached and to try again tomorrow. |
| Fresh sold-price lookups, shared across the tools | 15 | Card Price Check and Card Sales Lookup still answer from already-stored sales. |
| TCGplayer price lookups, shared across the tools | 30 | Pokemon and Magic prices are left out, and Pokemon Bulk Value marks unpriced cards as not looked up. |
Questions sellers ask
Are the WaxEngine card tools free?
Yes. All five tools are free, with no account, no sign-in and no API key. Each tool answers up to 2,000 questions per day as of October 3, 2026, and the tools that fetch fresh market data share the small daily lookup caps listed above.
Where do the card values come from?
Card Price Check and Card Sales Lookup answer only from sold sales of the exact card asked about: same player or character, year, set, number, parallel, print run and grade. The sales are eBay sales supplied through licensed data feeds. Sales of other cards from the same set are never used to state a value, and when there are not enough sales the tools say so instead of guessing.
Do the tools need my eBay account?
No. The tools are read-only and anonymous. They never ask for an eBay account, never post anything, and keep nothing personal. The Card Listing Writer produces text for you to paste; it does not touch eBay.
What happens when a tool reaches its daily limit?
The tool says the daily limit is reached and suggests trying again tomorrow. When only the live-data caps are reached, Card Price Check and Card Sales Lookup still answer from already-stored sales, and Pokemon Bulk Value marks the remaining cards as not looked up rather than guessing.
Which cards do the tools cover?
Hockey, baseball, football, basketball and UFC trading cards, plus Pokemon and Magic: The Gathering, in US dollars or Canadian dollars. Pokemon Bulk Value covers raw English and Japanese Pokemon cards. The Card Fee Calculator covers eBay US and eBay Canada trading card sales.
Selling a whole stack? WaxEngine scans, prices and lists every card for you.
